Analytics & Reports
Simple guide for using analytics dashboards and reports (GUI only).
Use Analytics & Reports to see key numbers at a glance and create simple reports you can share. This guide explains only what you click and see.
Open the analytics dashboard
- Open your dashboard.
- Select Analytics.
- Choose the area you want to view (Students, Financial, Academic).
Read the dashboard
- KPIs: Small cards show totals and rates (e.g., students, attendance, payments).
- Charts: Lines, bars, or pies that show trends over time.
- Tables: Lists with details you can sort.
Filter your view
- Pick a date range.
- Choose filters like class, subject, campus, or status.
- Apply filters to update the charts and tables.
Tips:
- Clear filters to return to the full view.
- Save time by reusing common date ranges (Today, Last 7 Days, This Month).
Build a report
- Open Reports.
- Choose a report type (Students, Attendance, Grades, Payments).
- Select the columns you need.
- Add filters (date, class, subject, status).
- Preview the report.
- Save it with a clear name.
Export or share
- Open a saved report.
- Choose Export and select a format (PDF, Excel, CSV).
- Download the file or share it with your team as allowed.
Schedule a report (if enabled)
- Open a saved report and choose Schedule.
- Select how often to send (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Choose recipients.
- Save the schedule.
Personalize your dashboard
- Add or remove widgets to focus on what matters.
- Resize or move widgets to arrange your screen.
- Save your layout.
Common views to check
- Students: enrollments, attendance, progress.
- Financial: payments received, outstanding balances.
- Academic: grade trends, course completion.
Privacy and access
- View only what your role allows.
- Share reports only with people who need them.
- Do not include sensitive details unless required.
Troubleshooting
- If data looks outdated, refresh the page.
- If a report is empty, remove filters or widen the date range.
- If you can’t export or schedule, check your permissions.
