Teacher Payments & Lesson Control

Understand your payment system, lesson completion tracking, and how earnings are calculated based on your teaching activities.

The Teacher Payments & Lesson Control system shows how your teaching activities translate into earnings. View your payment history, understand lesson completion tracking, and see how your salary is calculated based on completed lessons.

How to Use

Understanding Your Payment System

  1. Navigate to your Teacher Dashboard to view your earnings overview.
  2. Your salary is calculated based on completed lessons only.
  3. Each completed lesson earns you the salary per lesson amount defined for that class.
  4. View your Expected Salary (Month) - projected earnings if all scheduled lessons are completed.
  5. View your Salary Earned (Completed) - actual earnings from lessons you've finished.
  6. Track your progress toward monthly earning goals.

Viewing Payment Breakdown

  1. In your Teacher Dashboard, see the Expected Salary card with detailed breakdown:
    • Class name - Which class the earnings are from
    • Lectures per month - How many lessons are scheduled monthly
    • Salary per lesson - Your rate for each lesson in that class
    • Total expected - Monthly projection for that class
  2. The Salary Earned card shows your actual completed lesson earnings.
  3. Compare expected vs. earned to track your teaching progress.

Understanding Lesson Completion

  1. Lessons are automatically completed when they reach their end time.
  2. You cannot manually complete lessons - this happens automatically.
  3. Only completed lessons count toward your salary calculations.
  4. Scheduled lessons show as projections but don't count until completed.
  5. Cancelled or annulled lessons don't count toward earnings.

Tracking Salary Progress

  1. View the Salary Progress Chart on your dashboard:
    • Shows cumulative earnings day-by-day for the current month
    • Each bar represents total salary earned up to that date
    • Hover over bars to see specific amounts and lesson counts
  2. Use this chart to monitor your earning trends throughout the month.
  3. Track whether you're meeting your expected monthly earnings.

Managing Lesson Attendance for Earnings

  1. Take attendance during active lessons to ensure proper lesson completion.
  2. When you save attendance, the lesson is marked as properly conducted.
  3. For IT Bootcamp organizations: Video call automatically opens after saving attendance.
  4. Video recordings serve as source of truth for lesson activity and completion.
  5. Proper attendance tracking ensures lessons count toward your earnings.

Viewing Completed Lessons History

  1. Scroll to the "Lectures Held This Month" section on your dashboard.
  2. See detailed list of all completed lessons with individual earnings.
  3. For each completed lesson, view:
    • Lesson name and description
    • Date the lesson was held
    • Salary earned for that specific lesson
  4. Lessons are sorted newest to oldest.
  5. Use this to verify which lessons have been counted toward your earnings.

Understanding Salary Calculations

  1. Salary per lesson varies by class - each class has its own rate.
  2. Your total monthly earnings = sum of all completed lesson salaries.
  3. Expected monthly earnings = sum of all scheduled lesson salaries.
  4. Earnings are calculated in real-time as lessons are completed.
  5. Only active classes (not completed) contribute to expected earnings.

Accessing Payment Reports

  1. Scroll to the bottom of your dashboard.
  2. Click the "Open Lessons Report" link.
  3. View detailed reports about:
    • All your lessons (past, present, and future)
    • Earnings breakdown by lesson and class

Lesson Control and Management

  1. Access lesson details by clicking "View" on any lesson from your lessons list.
